New Solar PV world record low price – Results of Saudi NREP Sakaka Solar PV Bid Opening

The Renewable Energy Program Development Office (REPDO) announced today from Riyadh, in a public opening, the bidders and commercial offers received for the first Solar PV plant of the NREP, Sakaka 300MW.  A total of 8 bids were received.  MASDAR offers a world record low of 1,786 cUSD/kWhr.

  • ACWA Power: 8,7815 cSAR = 2,342 cUSD
  • Marubeni Corporation: 9,976 cSAR = 2,66 cUSD
  • Engie: 10,393 cSAR = 2,772 cUSD
  • JGC Corporation-Trina: 10,44139 cSAR = 2,784 cUSD
  • Mitsui & Co.: 10,71 cSAR = 2,856 cUSD
  • Total-Alfanar: 10,72174 cSAR = 2,859 cUSD
