ADWEA (Abu Dhabi) to sign 350MW solar PV PPA

ADWEA received six bids for the 350 MW solar PV plant in Sweihan.  The lowest bid, with a plant of over 1GW, come from the consortium of JinkoSolar-Marubeni at a record price of 2.42 US cents/kWh.  Masdar’s proposal was the second-lowest at 2.53 US cents/kWh.  ADWEA plans to sign the PPA by March 2017.  Read more
