Tomaso Charlemont joins Sunshine Middle East as Partner

Tomaso Charlemont joins SUNSHINE MIDDLE EAST bringing 25 years of Business Development experience throughout the EMEA Region. After having spent 20 years in the field of data communication and networking infrastructure with US firms Belden and Ortronics (Legrand group), Tomaso decided to put his competences and experience to contribution to leading firms in the PV sector. Tomaso says: “not only I consider solar a great business opportunity, but I also see it as an ethical responsibility”. He joined Satcon in 2008 and Chint Power Systems in 2012.  Two leading manufacturers of utility scale, commercial and residential PV inverters, which he helped to develop their activity across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He secured some 400MW of PV inverter business across the EMEA region what helped him become a true expert in solar PV BOS and acquire a broad, as well as in-depth, knowledge of all associated equipment, from the PV module to the grid connection.

Engineer by education, Tomaso has developed into a respected and reputed businessman in the sector. He lived in Italy, Germany, France and the United Arab Emirates and is currently residing in France near Lyon.
